PAYMENTS
For openings, I will be open every December on the 1st to the 20th, or 15th depending on the level of submissions I receive. For tax purposes, I’ll be taking payments on the 1st of January, and at least a 50% down payment will have to be made in order to be placed in the queue. If the down payment isn’t made and I’m not given any valid reason as to why or any time period in which the payment can be made, then the slot will be given to someone else. I will only wait one to two days for a response before the slot is replaced. I open once a year so that people have plenty of time to save up, so please have your deposits ready before applying during the opening. Suspicion of unwillingness to pay or communicate may also possibly terminate the commission, and could lead to black-listing.
For quotes, if you’re wanting to know the price of the commission you’re wanting you may message me on my Instagram @Matchapawz or email me (IG is better), matchapawz@gmail.com for a quote outside of an opening. I do charge a $5 fee for only quotes, so please be prepared to pay that via cashapp or paypal. Once that is paid, you will be given a separate form to fill out so that I can give you an exact price. I will not give a ‘general estimate’, so please do not ask. My starting prices are posted for the purpose of letting everyone know how much to expect without buying a quote, however it may greatly exceed that amount.
Most payment plans are accepted, but I do prefer to receive full payments. However, if I like your character's design enough, I may accept payments. However, full payment must be met at least two months prior to the month in which your slot is scheduled, to give me ample time to plan. Please keep that in mind when you have suggested completion dates, because I do not start work until all payment is completed.
Payments will be received via Cashapp, PayPal Invoice (Tax is 4.5% or the total), or Money Order. Anyone under 18 will need to pay through a parent or guardian, and an ID will be asked of said guardian plus proof of consent to pay.
PLEASE NOTE that any commission may take up to a year to fo-fill, but usually within a month or two after payment is fully made and once the commission is started. Completion dates are NOT accepted, but you may suggest one. Rush charges are not accepted. If you want your suit by a specific time, and NEED it by then, plan a year in advance just to be sure you'll receive your suit. I try to focus on quality more than turn out time.
REFUNDS
I will purchase materials in bulk at the beginning of the year, so 30% of the full price will never be refundable, and I will confiscate all bought materials as a part of that. This also applies if you need a refund and the commission has already been started, I will be reselling anything finished in order to make up for any time I will need to spend on replacing the commission (changing things so that your character will be safely yours). In some cases, I may ask that you resell your slot to receive the refund, but I will normally help however I can. I try not to add any more stress to a situation than need-be, to myself or to you! I’m willing to work things out, and figure out solutions so that nobody is left feeling overly punished, especially for situations that cannot be helped. So please be patient, as I only make so much to get me through a year. Refunds will not be made if the reason is that I did not complete the suit in time for your con/date unless the time exceeds a year after full payment.
CONDUCT
I'm allowed to, and will, refuse service to anyone if I feel uncomfortable with how things are transgressing. I try to be fair about this, and try to communicate, but I will not tolerate any harassment, or disrespectful behavior such as excessive pushiness, harassment, or general rudeness. I work by a simple three (or less) strike rule during commissions, however exceptions can be made and I always prefer to be amicable. Please be fair to me, as I am only doing my best as a single artist.
Do not harass me for updates, I will update you when I feel that there is something to be updated (sorry if that is harsh, but I work as fast as I can). If I neglect to contact you within two or three weeks then feel free to give me a gentle nudge, however — again, I am only one person, so sometimes I may forget to respond to your message or take longer to get you a good work in progress picture! I appreciate any patience you can give, but I really do try to stay on top of things as best as I can! I am just as excited to show off any work I’m doing for you as you are to see it.
I will accept any open species. I won't copy another maker's style, so please do not send me reference photos of other suits that I haven’t made, because I will not work with it. Art pieces are okay to use to show what desired look you’d want for the suit, however I may decline if it isn’t something I’m willing to do or feel like I cannot do given my current abilities in a small studio.

DTD

A good duct-tape dummy must be sent in for all full-suit commissions. Keep in mind that a finished product will only be as good as the dummy that is provided. The entire body including up the neck, over the pits, hands (not individual digits), and feet must be covered well and attached to the duct tape dummy. Use saran wrap or a painter's suit to tape over, and NOT paper towels. You must use a durable duct tape or else the dtd will fall apart. You can ship by simply folding the dtd up like clothes and using a box. I typically refer people to skypro fursuits for the dtd tutorial on YouTube! I only need the left arm and leg however, each to the knee and elbow, unless your character design is different on both sides then I will need the full body. Please ask me if you need more information about this.

SHIPPING

Commissioners are responsible to pay all shipping fees only after the commission is completed. You can request a quote for shipping but please keep in mind that the price could change significantly by the time it is due. I always urge commissioners to save at least $70-$200 just in case. Sometimes more if out of the US and your commission has a larger than average size, like a plush suit or one with a big tail.
For any orders being sent back to me due to mistakes I’ve made on the commission (ex. Rips right out of the box, glue/stitches showing out of the box, wrong colors, ect.) I will cover the shipping to have it sent back to me for repairs within a three month period, or grant a partial refund. However, if the order was damaged during shipment or wasn’t due to my own mistakes, then I am not responsible and will not cover shipping to have it sent back or returned. This does not cover mis fitted suits because I use the dtd you send me which should fit your form perfectly and be sturdily built to maintain that shape, of course I will ask for proof so we can talk about it if that’s the case! I do want to make sure everyone is happy at the end of a commission, even once it is in your hands.
I am not responsible for any commissions lost in mail. Once an order is shipped then it is out of my hands, and I cannot do anything about it. However, I can help you if you need to know more of what to do. I can remake orders if packages are fully insured, so I do recommend getting the full insurance which I will quote you on when the order is ready to ship. I will need to receive the refunded amount in order to fit you into the next queue period, as I take commissions every month and it may be impossible to fit in another project that year. This has never been an issue before however, just an added precaution.
